		<description>Hi Bill,

With the increased amount of time spent at the workplace and the rising costs of healthcare, it’s no surprise that preventative health and wellness programs have become a staple at various organizations. HR professionals are often tasked with planning, recommending and implementing new wellness programs and policies, and many – particularly those at small to mid-sized organizations – are eager for some insight. So, to assist these professionals in the development and implementation of wellness programs in the workplace, The Illinois State Council of the Society for Human Resource Management (ISC-SHRM) has launched a new online resource called WOW!, wellness in our workplace (wellness.illinoisshrm.org).

Developed by ISC-SHRM with the support of an unrestricted educational grant from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois, WOW! serves as a one-stop clearinghouse for worksite wellness as well as a resource for chapter programs.

Feel free to check out this new resource and let me know your thoughts.

Kind Regards,
Brittany</description>
