		<description>Well, Larry, actually they would keep all of their paycheck MINUS whatever the FairTax percentage is, of course - 10%?  20%? more?  And with no deductions for charitable contributions, aren&#039;t people going to give less to the organizations that depend on those contributions?  Are fewer people going to buy houses because they will no longer receive tax breaks on the interest on mortgage loans?  And we are seeing right now how the housing industry affects so many other industires as well as the economy as a whole.  The FairTax sounds great on the surface, but I am afraid it could have a very negative effect on our overall economy.</description>
